Lapitec is committed to respecting the environment and the health of others, and in helping create a more sustainable tomorrow.
The manufacturing process for Lapitec is closely monitored, and the company does not use any raw materials obtained through petroleum processing. Additionally, Lapitec uses renewable energy in its manufacturing – thanks to the 13,000 sq./m of solar panels fitted to the roof of Lapitec’s headquarters in Treviso, Italy.
Once manufactured, Lapitec panels can be used as cladding and these offer improved thermal insulation compared to other available cladding products. Additionally, Lapitec is an inert product, which does not release any substance or VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) into the environment.
At the end of the cycle, Lapitec can be recycled as aggregate or disposed of as an inert product.
Lapitec is made from 100% natural minerals without the use of any resins or binding agents.
Lapitec is imporous and is therefore water resistant. Ideal for bathrooms or pool surrounds.
The Lapitec collection is available in slab sizes of 3365 x 1500mm.
Due to Lapitec’s inherent density, it can withstand forces above and beyond it’s predecessors – providing the solid surface with longevity.
The beautiful and natural colours from the Lapitec collection will remain the same over time and will never fade, even with continued exposure to UV light.
Lapitec slabs are full bodied and as such composition, physical and visual properties are consistent throughout.
The beauty of Lapitec is that it’s engineered for life – even at only 12mm thick, Lapitec is one of the strongest hard surface materials on the market.
Complete resistance and protection against acids and alkali, leaving you with the confidence of knowing that any cleaning, spillages or mishaps will not effect your Lapitec surfaces.
